Scholarships
Youth play an important part in Rotary. They are our future leaders and will help shape the way the world works. The Florence Rotary Club is proud to support the youth in our community through scholarships that help them achieve their goals.

Mapleton Scholarships
Florence Rotary Mapleton Scholarship ($2,000-$4,000)
Mapleton High School senior who has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence (minimum GPA 3.75) and school/community service. Essay required.
Florence Rotary Club Community Service Scholarships ($1,000+)
Mapleton High School senior who has demonstrated a commitment toschool/community service, academic excellence (minimum GPA 3.25), and financial need. No essay required.
Florence Rotary Club Arts Scholarship ($1,000+)
Siuslaw or Mapleton High School senior who has demonstrated a commitment to school/community service and will be attending an accredited art, culinary, or performing arts institute, or plans to major in the arts at an accredited 2 or 4 year college.
Siuslaw Scholarships
Founders /Arthur Coit Past Presidents’ Scholarships ($10,000/$6,000)
Siuslaw High School senior who has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence (minimum GPA 3.75), and school/community service. Essay required.
Florence Rotary President’s Scholarships ($1,000+)
Siuslaw High School senior who has demonstrates financial need and who has shown
steady improvement in grades, increasingly challenging coursework, and school or
community involvement over their four years in high school.
Florence Rotary Club Community Service Scholarships ($1,000+)
Siuslaw High School senior who has demonstrated a commitment to school/community service, academic excellence (minimum GPA 3.25), and financial need.
Sneddon Family Scholarship ($1,000+)
Siuslaw High School senior who has demonstrated financial need, school/community service, and a commitment to academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.00).
Rotary Vocational/Technical Scholarship ($1,000+)
Siuslaw High School senior who plans to attend a post secondary vocational or technical school focusing on obtaining certification in his/her desired vocation and has demonstrated academic achievement (minimum GPA 2.75) and financial need.
Florence Rotary Club Arts Scholarship ($1,000+)
Siuslaw or Mapleton High School senior who has demonstrated a commitment to school/community service and will be attending an accredited art, culinary, or performing arts institute, or plans to major in the arts at an accredited 2 or 4 year college.
